SSS Lab Director
About
Dr. Lee is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science Technology at University of Houston. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2022. His research interests broadly lie in the security of embedded systems including mobile computing, cyber-physical systems, and IoT. Among many challenges, he mainly focuses on developing secure and usable device authentication mechanisms leveraging various environmental contexts to prove coexistence of devices. He also actively works on the projects related to the field of hardware security and secure V2X network systems. He is a recipient of Cyber-Physical Systems Rising Star 2022, ECE Wisconsin Distinguished Graduate Fellowship from UW-Madison, Best Demonstration Award at 2018 SIGDA University Demo. He has (co-)authored several papers published in UbiComp, IPSN, ICCD, WiSec, etc.
